February is the month where we celebrate Valentine’s Day, on February 14.
In the western world, or anywhere else, we associate this day with cupid, hearts, roses, chocolates or a renewal and reaffirmation of love.
My contribution in my art sense, is a crocheted baby blanket. They are granny squares joined together in light purple, white and a variegated shades of purple and lilac.
The blanket is a simple project that can be finished in a few days. It is a nice gift at baby showers. I have given countless of baby blankets to expectant mothers.

Thanks for leaving the comment, I got you in! I really like that blanket I always wanted to learn to make stuff like that, it reminds me of grandmother because she made blankets for everybody from her church to the family.

You are lucky, your mom helped you. I learned how to crochet in 3rd grade with my Chinese teacher. Never learned how to read pattern until in ’94. Now I give free lessons during lunch time.
