Where am I?

Panorama City,  in the heart of  San Fernando Valley  is the home of  our paisanos.  At the corner of Van Nuys and Roscoe Blvd, Island Pacific Supermarket stands tall amidst the majestic mountains.  There is no nostalgia, it will make you feel at home.

Ay! nakalimutan ko, mayroon pa yatang balikbayan box center. You bring your box, and I think it is cheaper by $5.00 or maybe more. A few blocks, east is another supermarket, Seafood City, (Sharon Cuneta is the spokesperson) there’s an array of Filipino Stores. I will explore the other side of town, east of the Valley, in Glendale, maybe also 10 miles from my house, they call it Little Manila.

Maybe I should take more photos of our own Filipino town in Los Angeles……….

    Hi, Ebie!

I’m fortunate, too, that Hawaii is flooded with Pinoys and Pinoy foodstuff. I will surely miss this when we move to the mainland a few months from now :(

    Btw, you’ve been tagged!

It’s great that you have a place in your area that makes you feel as if you’re in the Philippines.

how lucky! here in my part of the US, the nearest Pinoy store is about 25 miles drive away. When I sorely miss Pinoy foods, I make do with substitution of ingredients and cook.
