Live, Love, Give!

While growing up, I remember among us siblings, I was the only one who did not eat chocolate, cheese, ice cream and anything sweet. But not until three years ago, I have been craving dessert after dinner. And ice cream is my favorite.  Normally, I would just have 2 scoops of ice cream on a cone. But once in a while, I do indulge, such as banana split.

“A banana split is an ice cream-based dessert. In its classic form it is served in a long dish called a “boat”. A banana is cut in two lengthwise (hence the split) and laid in the dish. So now I ask, “What is your favorite ice cream flavor or ice cream concoction?” is Teacher Julie’s weekly question.

Here’s my own

Half of a banana, split in two, three scoops of rocky road, sliced whole strawberry and half a teaspoon of strawberry preserves on top.  And that’s heaven.
