There is so much to see and fill your hearts content with the scenic views in the Eastern Sierras. I am showing you some highlights of this trip.
We drove up to Lake Mary Road to the top at 8000 feet elevation. The road speed changes from 15 to 25 to 35 depending on how zigzag the road or loop is. I have fear of heights and my feet were trembling while driving. C’mon you brave little toaster!
This strong gushing flow is the Upper Twin and this leads to the Twin Lakes
The weatherman said slight showers and thunderstorm, and we have seen the movement of the clouds. We stayed for at least an hour and left. When we arrived Main Street, it poured.

I too fear heights my friend and would have felt just as delicate in my stomach driving up there but boy was it worth it. Absolutely stunning spot with those lakes and the gushing current flowing down. Love the photo angle of the rapids. Impressive to say the least and the mountains too. They are gorgeous. This is a visual treat for me so thanks for taking the time to tremble on our behalfs

What a gorgeous place on earth! And very good photo of the waterfall – really falling down the hill! I am not afraid of heights, but I can understand people who has that – cause I am cured!
That last shot is magnificent! That is a postcard Ebie! And not only because of the landscape, you took the shot from the perfect spot! You have a great holiday – I can see that!

Very nice! Love that shot of the rushing water and that last shot vaguely reminds me of Lake Arrowhead. I think it’s the pine trees.

How nice that you got up in the mountains. The lighting you took these in is stunning, especially with those dark skies in the last pic. Didn’t you want to go take a dip in that fresh mountain lake? Hee, hee! If you have a fear of heights, check out my WW!
