Watery Wednesday: Mono Lake in Panoramic View

This is my third attempt to do panoramic view.  This is a merging of 2 or more pictures together, noting that you are shooting your object in the same eye level position but different views.  I am so addicted to do panorama views. (Click to open photo, and click once more to super enlarge)

On our way back from The Ghost Town, in Bodie, we pulled over the Scenic Spot to take some pictures.  This was taken at a higher elevation, overlooking the lake.  I did not have any clue that the shots I took would be merged.

I am just glad my daughter is exploring different ways to enhance her skills.  I have a hands on teacher.  So far, I am 100% satisfied with my work, it takes a lot of patience, and I am just glad I am.

My first attempt here; and second here.  You could also see my daughter’s here.

They came out great and I looks like perfect weather for your shots. If you had turned west at the top of Conway summit (just above where you took your shots) you would have come to our cabin about six miles up the road. I think you can understand why we love it there.

Hi Ate Ebie (may I add Ate to your name when addressing you?), I enjoyed looking at your panoramic shots. “Ghost Town” that’s an interesting concept to me; somewhere I’ve never been to and will go to at the first chance. If I may, I want to pass an award to you. It’s up on my blog. Thanks.

Hi Jackie, thanks for the compliments. Actually I am still a newbie in everything: blogging since Jan 09, DSLR since March, and there is still a lot to learn. Just thankful my kid is here to coach me. I am using the basic 18-55 lens that came with the kit. I say if they are good shots, it was pure patience and luck and constant asking questions with Z.
