The past Sunday, we went to the Balloon Festival. We woke up at 3:00 a.m. and left at 4:00 a.m. for a 106 mile trip to be able to watch the lift off at 6:00 a.m. Naturally I was so tired.
I reset my alarm clock to 5:30 am. for Monday’s work. My alarm did not go off. To my surprise, Twyla climb up to my bed and in a prone position was sitting on my chest. Making some sounds. When I checked, it was 5:40 a.m.
I jumped out of bed and fed her, and hopped in the shower! My kitty, my alarm clock!

What a cute kitty. I’ll bet you’re really glad she woke you up. I could use a back-up alarm clock like that.
Thanks for telling me you missed them too. At least you still got to see a tethered one but I don’t feel as bad as I did before.
