Hear ye, hear ye! Friday is International Box Day hosted by Maggy and Zoey at Zoolatry.
This is Twyla, an abused cat that was found by our neighbors under the parked cars. They saw her everyday for a week, and with their good hearts rescued her. When we came home on May 8 from our trip to the Flower Fields in Carlsbad, near San Diego, they handed me this cute little creature. They already have three bobcats. We adopted her.
Last night, she was so quiet, her unusual self. We do not have a lot of pictures of her, so I decided to unload my new TEVA (clearance) boots and gave her the box. She likes the sound of the paper.
She is a happy cat, and we love her. She could be my alarm clock, too. She is curled up in this tiny box and looks like she is so comfortable.
Ssshhh…don’t wake her up!
This is a scrap that my daughter made for her. She’s got style, too! This is a Coach shopping bag, and sometimes it could be her temporary abode.
P.S. I want to thank Anya for posting this International Box Day at her blog and that’s how I come to know. I want to give credit to my daughter Zee, who loves her so much, and for having the patience to take the photographs using my camera.

Wow… not only is there at cat in a box, it’s a box that had sox, so you have
cats and sox together in a box.

Twyla has a beautiful face! So good that you could give her a good home. We have 4 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 sheep that were all rescues, in addition to over 50 pet chickens! I am secretly hoping I will find a Llama in need of resuce!
