a Friday meme hosted by James of Newtown Area Photo.
This photo was taken on the 19th floor at an L-angle from the other corner office, when both offices were still unoccupied. I am facing the famous Hollywood sign, which view has been obstructed by the tall building. Today, both offices have been filled in by two new lawyers.
I work on the 19th floor of this brown building below
P.S. I am using my 2005 old desktop, and it cannot read my files on my external drive. My laptop caught some virus last night while searching for recipe on line. I was able to post the photos because I have the habit of working on draft posts for emergency purposes. This came so handy.
Enjoy your weekend everyone, and I will share with you some interesting reflection photos next week.

I love that first photo, especially! Even the side of the building reflects from its glossy finish. Superb find there! I hope you can get your computer back up and running soon…but, how organized you are with a spare!

Wow – it’s amazing what you can see in the reflections in the top photo! I can’t believe that second building doesn’t blow over – it looks too skinny! Alas, it IS Hollywood, right?

19th floor Ebie?? Maybe you’re used to it. When I was working at Bank of America, my department relocated from the 4th floor to the 20th floor due to renovation. The elevator would shake a bit once we pass the 15th floor. Of course the 20th floor had a wonderful city view but yeah, it was right after 9/11 and the thought of an airplane slamming into my floor never escaped my mind. Your building looks very unique..so slim with reflective materials. Really nice!

That first photo is very disorienting. Then you realize how wonderful it is.
Too bad about the view being blocked by that tall skinny building, which looks slightly out of proportion.
Hope your computer problems are sorted soon.
Back up, back up, back up.

Love the reflections above, and the amazing tall shot of “your” building.
And sorry to hear about your virus woes. Please consider a Mac for your next computer. They are so much less worry and trouble. Using one since 1992, I once got a virus, back in the 90s, easily removed, and all it did was make my computer restart every hour. Not too wicked. It’s so great to laugh at all the .exe spam files I get, trying to infect me.

Fantastic photos! And your building is awesome. Love the tall, thin glass portion of it. It almost looks like it’s too narrow to remain standing.
Sorry to hear about the virus. I hope you recover all of your files.
Have a happy weekend, Ebie!

your first photo made my jaw drop, no kidding!
sorry to hear about the virus, our PC was attacked by virus last yearend too and now hubby could hardly install programs because the new system (or whatever tech term it is) just doesn’t allow. i don’t have photoshop to play with anymore but it doesn’t affect me that much coz i hardly have time to edit my photos and blog nowadays.
but hey,it feels great to be here! till we meet again, Ebie. you are missed.
