Tidy tips are wildflowers native to southern California. This annual, is a member of the aster family spring wildflower blooms.
It has bright, daisy like flowers with a strong, golden-yellow colors. Each petal is tipped with white, hence it is called “tidy tips”.
Tidy tips is found throughout California’s low-elevation dry habitats, from the coast to the low foothills and desert edges, and into Nevada.

tidy tips is my favorite wildflower Ebie, and so great to see a bed of tidy tips, I miss going here this year, next year, should go to Bakersfield.

Another flower I have never heard of before! Each photo was a surprise to me! When I looked at the side view in the first, I expected the petals to be all white, like daisies, and they’re not! And then the field covered in them! Wow!!!
