One year ago on May 8th, we adopted Twylah, an abandoned cat found by our neighbors stucked in between the barb wires in the parking lot. We were very hesitant at first, but we want to give her a home. She is very shy and does not like the camera.
For a treat, we bought her a serving of mango mousse cake from Portos, a very famous Cuban bakery and another huge layer for the rest of the family. Of course, we got the chocolate flavor, so she can’t eat more than her share. I only gave her a little bit and put in fingers and she was licking it!
She is one loving cat and has found a good home. When we are asleep, she climbs up and down our bed, sometimes, sleeps at my feet.
What a joy she is to us. She loves new things, sniffs on my shoes and bag whenever I come home. She specially likes boxes! On this photo she is lying on top of Zee’s new computer box. And we have quite a few boxes lying around. We did not want to throw them yet.

Happy birthday to Twylah! Even though I wasn’t blogging a year ago, I remember when you got her because James told me about it. I was so glad you took her in.
We also leave boxes around for a while in our house so the cats can enjoy them.
