P.S. Somebody has been stealing my photos, and I will find out more….
These mosaic tiles are found at Universal City subway station of Los Angeles Metro Red Line platform. It is adjacent to the historic site of the Campo de Cahuenga, where in 1847 Mexico surrendered the control of California to the United States. This is my daily sight of my everyday commute to work to Downtown LA.

A collage of hearts found on the tiles

See, observe, meditate
the ocean’s panoramic view

Smell the salty air
Wind brushing his silver hair

Waves rising like white froth

Splish, splash

I hear the waves roar
Strong, majestic

A great day to be outdoors!

These are shots taken standing on the grounds of Pepperdine University, along the Pacific Coast Highway 1. Almost sunset, facing west. The ground is not level, a downhill slope. Does this scene remind you of the movie “Out of Africa”.

On a different direction, facing Malibu Beach, balding trees, FALL is almost here.

Swerving to the right, I am guessing it is Point Dume at a distance

3000 Flags of all nations waving in memory of the victims of 9/11
