That Certain Smile

I have that certain smile, a smile to celebrate my second anniversary of blogging. I give credit to Zee and her “tech” friends, who encouraged me to start a blog in January,  2009. After weekly posts, I gradually increased at a rate of one post a day.  To date, this is my 709th post.

But this is not my smile

not these eyes either

A Dream Catcher Mosaic

Native Americans hung “Dream Catchers” over the bed. The bad dreams were caught in the web and were destroyed in the first rays of sunlight.

The good dreams went through the web and the center of the loop and back into the dreamer.

Many dream catchers have stones or artifacts weaved into the web and bring the dream good fortune or good health.

These were found in an antique store in Big Bear, CA

Firehole Bridge

This is the Firehole Bridge crossing the Firehole River to a walkway leading to the steaming Excelsior Geyser, Midway Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park. Taken on one gloomy yet cloudy day in October, 2010.

The river is surrounded by geothermal features which empty water into it.
