Of Pumpkins and Costumes

Quite a few changes in the weather and colors. You see farms and botanical gardens changing their themes!

Kids and grown ups dressing up.  Such pretty shoes!

And fancy skirt glitters!

One September Morn

It pays to  carry your camera wherever you go. Who knows what surprises you might get.

Strange it may be, my early morning commute brings me a show case of fog, low or high.

My bus drops me off right at my office doorstep.

Join us and the rest of the world sky watching!

Because We Care

Our dear friend Clytie had a little trip to the ER last week and she is now at home resting. She wrote about it on her “Hearty Scare” here. There are things we take for granted. I get emails from my heathcare provider to remind me of our annual check up, flu shots , etc, especially if you are in your golden age.

I saw this sign at the skilled facility where Zee had worked before. We sometimes meet up for late lunches or early dinner.

There are also different ways of showing your affection.

Sand and Sea

Summer is gone and I am one month late in posting these photos taken at the Belmont Shores (Long Beach area) on the occasion of the Sand Sculpture Festival.

It was a steaming hot weather that day in August, when kids and old alike participated. It was also Long Beach’s 100 Centennial Celebration.
