I got the green light from my doctor that I can still hike: no torn cartilage or tendons, only a sign of the aging process, knee arthritis!
On Saturday, our group went to Paramount Ranch, an old movie set nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains, my second visit since last Fall.
A view of the back lot from the overlook
It was a short hike, just a loop.
Love the contrast of colors: brown and green leaves
It was a bit overcast in the morning, grass now turned brown.
Though there were still some wildflowers
Later in the day, the skies cleared. Behind the mountains is Malibu Creek where MASH was filmed.

Glad you got the green light to get out there and hike! Pooh, I hate that when things happen to our bodies just because we’re growing older. Crummy deal, huh?
I love it when you say ‘there were some wildflowers’ and then treat us to that beautiful collage. Yeah, I’d say SOME wildflowers! All gorgeous pictures and that shortish loop was a perfect one for your first one back after a while.
