What causes tides? It is the gravitational pull of the moon and the sun on the earth’s oceans. The change (from low to high tides) occur every six hours.

I used to live very near the ocean and these photos make me think I can smell the low tide. :))

I am not familiar with the word ‘tide-pooling’ and can’t relate to it. But your photos are as beautiful as ever. The white rock formations are lovely too. Do you see a lot of marine organisms during low tide in those cold waters too?
I envy your diligence in posting, and even with more than one blogsite! I have just one and can’t even cope well.

I took off my shoes and socks and I’m walking on the sandy beach now. Those jagged boulders I’ll take a pass walking on them. Ouch!
