Last year, the second week of October, when our group had an outing, there was hardly any water on the different falls in Yosemite. With California’s drought season, they say that the water dries up by July.
Luckily, this month, Yosemite had rain and snow, and is getting more, water was abundant.

This was taken in the morning of our Ansel Adams walk from the Cook’s meadow.

I am so glad you got to see the falls! And your picture is beautiful.
Wonderful captures of the waterfall. I love to watch waterfalls!
Have a lovely week ahead Ebie
Beautiful. Love anything by Ansel Adams. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic.
Gorgeous photos, Ebie! I visited Yosemite in September a few years ago and the waterfall was only a trickle, but I enjoyed everything about this beautiful National Park, non-the-less.
I haven’t ever been to Yosemite it is on my “bucket list.” Lovely to see the waterfalls and Ansel Adams is my favorite photographer of all time. Ebie, I love your post this week.

Thanks for dropping by
Fabulous!!
Cool shots!
Hope there are rains.
I love the misty atmosphere in the second picture….the first is amazing, but stark – what are those ‘bumps’ on the top of the cliffs? Are they trees?
wow! gorgeous photos of the falls!!!
Lovely silhouette of the pine branch against the waterfall! Yosemite would be a wonderful place for photo addicts!
I love Yosemite! I sure hope the rain we’ve had this year helps with the horrible drought we’ve suffered through. It seems the reservoir levels are rising.
Beautiful pictures!
