Litratong Pinoy: Estranghero

Who is he?  Do I know him? No.  He is one of the care takers of the ranunculus flowers of the Flower Fields in Carlsbad, CA.  But how did I get him to pose for this shot?  Simple, just my little knowledge of Spanish.  I even forgot to ask his name.

We visited The Ranunculus Flower Fields in Carlsbad, in San Diego, CA three weekends ago. We come here almost every year and the time was just perfect. Beautiful weather, bright and sunny skies.  We also had a chance to meet Betchai, a Filipino blogger.  It is a 100-mile drive from Los Angeles.

The flowers are called ranunculus. They bloom only in the early part of Spring. The flower fields will be closed next weekend and getting ready again for the next season.

This is my model, Zee, my grown up, not kid anymore!

Isn’t it gorgeous?
