Barnsdall Art Park, sits atop Olive Hill near the intersection of Hollywood and Vermont, overlooking the City of Los Angeles. It was donated by Aline Barnsdall to the the City of Los Angeles in 1927. In her donation, it included its Frank Lloyd Wright designed structures including the famous Hollyhock House. Her intention was to maintain an active arts center available for the community.
The Junior Arts Center was constructed in 1967 through the joint efforts of the City of Los Angeles and Junior League. It provides and supports quality art programs for children and enrich the community through the celebration of art.
