Depending on the time of day, and the position of the sun, we may have a Golden Pond.
It probably was windy days before we got here, these leaves settled on the pond.
I saw one turtle, but he was too far for me to capture.

The Full Wolf Moon happened on January 9, 2:30 a.m. EST
Source: Amid the cold and deep snows of mid-winter, the wolf packs howled hungrily outside Indian villages. January’s full moon was also known as the Old Moon or the Moon after Yule.
It was almost full moon, photos taken two days earlier, on January 7, 2012 at Carpinteria State Beach, in the Santa Barbara County, CA.
