My World: Art Cans

mwtblack1

Thanks to the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Louise, Fishing Guy and Sylvia for making this a world wide event.

The Arts in the Santa Clarita Valley is not just a weekend festival but it is all year long. Art in public places not only add personality to the community, it also develops creative expression, and promotes participation of the residents, students and other artists. A few miles north of Los Angeles, it is accessible by Metrolink.

Santa Clarita Art Festival

You thought I’ve seen pirates in the high seas?

Pirate Flag B

Could have fooled you  This is the aftermath of the previous night’s outdoor sing-a-long bar/restaurant or a comedy show, I don’t really quite know.

Pirates Band

This was taken in old town Newhall, in the Santa Clarita Valley, at the Festival of Arts on October 3-4 this past weekend. I give credit to my blogger friend Mari, for giving me the links to the festival.
