Golden Pond

Depending on the time of  day, and the position of the sun, we may have a Golden Pond.

It probably was windy days before we got here, these leaves settled on the pond.

I saw one turtle, but he was too far for me to capture.

Lily Pads and Reflections

Our group did something different this time. Instead of our usual hiking up in the Santa Monica Mountains, we visited the Getty Villa. These are some photos I am sharing with you.

The vertical reflections are wrought iron fences.

You can also see some reflections of statues underneath the lily pads.

Twin Ponds in Conejo Valley

I was too lazy to use my remote, so here’s our group “shadow” photo during our recent hike to Dos Vientos in Conejo Valley, Ventura County, CA.

The first of the twin pond

A little pivot, you see this

The second of the two ponds, across from each other separated by a trail

The hike was not boring, you see colors, a love affair of the yellow and red

and wildflower almost at its last blooming stage
