At a distance, I saw a mixture of clouds and fog, and dark skies. Tiny drops of rain were falling on the ground. The gardens are going to close in a few minutes.

The San Gabriel Mountains and tabebuia rosea also called pink trumpet tree

The clouds are getting darker, its time to go home.

Where are the cars?

I found these signs at the children’s garden.

I wonder if kids would pick worms and put them in this bin

something to keep the kids entertained!

My hiking group had this planned a month ago, but we did not know it was going to rain last Saturday. (Hehehe, I have activities every weekend).

The forecast says cloudy but rain on Sunday. Yet, it was raining. I drove through the winding Kanan Road to Encinal Canyon Road in Malibu to meet up at the Charmlee Wilderness Park.
It was foggy even at the parking lot. Advise: Please pay $ 4.00 at the self service parking bin, rangers come and check .

However, this was the perfect time to practice those water droplets shots. This is a spider web covered with raindrops.

There were lots of wildflowers soaked in the rain

Red Monkey Flower

Pitcher Sage (above photo) a very popular wildflower, rain looks like frosted ice
Night shade, flowers similar to the eggplant

tree covered with lichens

look at the details

I saw a giant sycamore tree, and I was surprise to see some blooms. We did not stay long, it poured till noon.
